  3. Sift flour and baking powder and add dry coffee granules to the flour mixture.
  4. With the paddle attachment cream the butter and sugar well, scraping down the sides as necessary.
  5. Add eggs one by one blending well in between.
  6. Add vanilla, blend well.
  7. Add sifted flour mixture alternating with milk. Mix very well each time flour or milk is added.
  8. Distribute between the two pans evenly and tap pans lightly on the counter.
  9. For 20-25 minutes. Check with cake skewer after 20 minutes, if it comes out dry, the cake is done.
